Fermented Rice (face + body bar)

Fermented Rice (face + body bar) . . .

is a lightly fragrant Fermented Rice face + body bar helps you have radiant + healthy skin with an even complexion.  Rice water has moisturizing, antioxidant + healing properties that help to improve circulation, prevent or fade age related spots and ease inflammation to give you healthy, better moisturized + clear, soft skin.

The effects of rice water is further enhanced when left to ferment. Fermented rice water is rice water that is left to ferment + has gone slightly sour. It is rich in antioxidants, minerals, B vitamins, vitamin E, and traces of pitera, a substance produced during the fermentation process. ‘Pitera’ has grown in popularity recently, and is touted as the anti-aging elixir due to its ability to promote cell regeneration, and help skin stay young + beautiful.

Fermented Rice Water is believed to shrink pores, reduce fine lines, tightens, brighten + help even skin-tone.

Rice Syrup is a sugar derived from fermented cooked rice by treating it naturally with enzymes from sprouted barley. Is high in several minerals including magnesium and phosphor, and has a 7% protein content. It also has B- vitamins (niacin + vitamin B-6) that are good for skin + hair.

While we keep our recipes consistent, the beauty of handcrafted soap is that no two bars are exactly the alike.  The color + design varies from batch-to-batch + bar-to-bar . . .

To ensure "clean" soap, our products are sealed in a protective + breathable polyofin covering.

To properly care for your soap + extend its shelf life, dry between uses on a natural soap saver or draining soap dish.  Do not let the soap sit in water.

Glycerin + Moist Soap . . .

Due to a high content of natural humectants (like glycerin, sugar, honey, etc.), a quality conditioning bar of handmade soap will often “sweat” in humid weather.  Humectants draw “moisture” from the air onto itself.  In skin care “moisture” is a good thing!  If your soap gets a little damp, it’s OK to use; it’s just the glycerin + other humectants doing their job.  When the weather clears the soap will dry + return to normal.  Keep unused soap in a dry place, like a drawer.
